The Urgent Care RN at Kaiser Permanente California delivers prompt, high quality nursing care to patients presenting with non life threatening acute illnesses and minor injuries. The RN performs rapid assessments, initiates basic treatments, assists providers with procedures, and educates patients on follow up care to ensure safe, efficient throughput in a high volume ambulatory setting.

Unit description
Clinicians provide care in fast-paced clinical environments and work with interdisciplinary teams across the assignment.
Responsibilities may include
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration per protocol
- Documentation in the facility EMR
- Communication with charge nurse and RapidStaff leadership
- Participation in unit orientation and safety briefings
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- BLS required; ACLS per unit requirement
- Recent experience in Cath Lab setting
- Ability to start on short notice
