The Oncology RN at Kaiser Permanente California provides expert, compassionate care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Unit description
Clinicians provide care in fast-paced clinical environments and work with interdisciplinary teams across the assignment.
Responsibilities may include
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration per protocol
- Documentation in the facility EMR
- Communication with charge nurse and RapidStaff leadership
- Participation in unit orientation and safety briefings
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- BLS required; ACLS per unit requirement
- Recent experience in ONC setting
- Ability to start on short notice
