The Pediatric RN at Kaiser Permanente California provides comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in outpatient clinics or inpatient pediatric units. The RN supports wellness, acute illness management, chronic disease education, and developmental health by collaborating with pediatricians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams to promote the highest standards of pediatric care.

Unit description
Clinicians provide care in fast-paced clinical environments and work with interdisciplinary teams across the assignment.
Responsibilities may include
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration per protocol
- Documentation in the facility EMR
- Communication with charge nurse and RapidStaff leadership
- Participation in unit orientation and safety briefings
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- BLS required; ACLS per unit requirement
- Recent experience in PEDS setting
- Ability to start on short notice
