PALS NO LONGER REQURIED The Interventional Radiology RN at Kaiser Permanente California provides expert nursing care for patients undergoing image guided, minimally invasive procedures. Working along-side interventional radiologists, technologists, anesthesiologists, and support staff, the RN ensures patient safety and comfort from pre procedure preparation through intra procedural support and post procedure recovery.
Due to the nature of strike staffing and rapid deployment, exact facility and placement details are confirmed during onboarding and assignment confirmation.
Unit description
Clinicians provide care in fast-paced clinical environments and work with interdisciplinary teams across the assignment.
Responsibilities may include
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Medication administration per protocol
- Documentation in the facility EMR
- Communication with charge nurse and RapidStaff leadership
- Participation in unit orientation and safety briefings
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- BLS required; ACLS per unit requirement
- Recent experience in IR setting
- Ability to start on short notice
